When Ted Glover got a new ford touring car to take Olive Christensen in we con- tended that Olives should be contained in glass not in tin . But now Freddy Meyer is taking her in a sedan . So all is well .

Leslie Goodrich for Register Of Deeds [ Republican ] Sept. 12 J. M. Lobaugh was chopping down a big tree in his yard at Silver Lake and had a few Floradalians to pull on the guy ropes so the tree would not fall on the housetop . West Golden - Clayton and Lucy Kauffman dedicated their new barn to the worl don Saturday night , Aug. 5 with an evening of terpsichorean trots . In plain talk they had a barn dance . Bob Brab is de- veloping a wonderful ability for painting boats and canoes . - George Wilson looked all over town for an artist to make a poster for a bazaar and then finally he had to do it himself and made something more artistic and beautiful than any one else could have done . I went into Baker's and he was trying to wind a bobbin on his shoe sewing machine . But the bobbin was all shot . Elmer Herklutz and another boy went into the bakery and asked for two spoons and one dish of ice cream .
