Bicycles have come to town . Murilyn Estes has a new one . So has Doris Lawhorn . Others we have noted pedalling their onward way are Lila Jane Anderson , Stanley Riley , Joan Peterson of Maple Ave- nue and Harland Fuller . - The Frederick Home Dairy of Pentwater and Ludington road is quite an institution . Jeff has a fine sanitary plant on Hancock street in Pentwater , and does he wash the bottle ? Why , he is a big bottlewasher like the editor of The Mears Newz . What with their milk and cream and orange drink they wash more than 1600 bottles a day . Of course Jeff doesn't shake the water of all those bottles personally . He has maybe seven helpers ringing door bells and towels and setting bottles of cream down on front porches and bottles of milk on side porches . And then there is Isa Sibley , the delicious looking ice cream dipper in the front store room who packs cold delight in heaping measure in every cone . - LeRoy Bearss gets pretty mad if he goes to Hart and can't find Phyllis Cole at home . - The sparkling beauty of the big new Plymouth is an abid- ing source of pride . The harmonious total of its striking design causes the eye to linger to search out new delights that make this great ear so modernly beautiful , so distinctive . The Gillett Motor Sales on US - 31 by the bridge in Hart . - It begins to appear that the new inside toi- lets at the Peach Ridge school house are an assured certainty . The problem of disposing of the old outside toilets at first bothered the board a little . But now everything is as clear as molasses in Feb- ruary . It is rumored that Rufus Jacobs could use one of them for a gas station . A gas station is sorely needed on Peach Ridge and Rufus

Jacobs would be a regullar sunny Jim winding the crank on the gas pump . As to what the board would do with the other toilet we would suggest that they throw it in for a rest room to go with the gas sta- tion . - Why pay 40c for a poor hair cut when you can just as well get a good one for 40c at Ed Mason's barber shop under the Stevens ' Hotel in Hart ? adv . - The Logelens and Sagerts have been visiting Charlie Bennett in the Chicken Acres subdivision near the Silver Lake channel . Jack Anderson's camp for boys at Stony Lake is an orderly and pleasant sight to see . Boys from 7 to 12 years of age get educa- tional recreation here as well as recreational education . They eat and rise and play tennis and swim by the clock or else the sun dial.- Henry Nietiedt is the griddle professor of German and potato pan- cakes with gobbling classes every Tuesday and Thursday night at Lakeside Kozy Kamp on Pentwater Lake near the Long Bridge . He told her to keep still or he would snap her head off . To this Janet Mae ade reply : " If yon snap my head off I'll snap it right back on again . " When her mother talked about going swimming at Pentwater and learing Janet at home , the little lady told her mother : " If you do I'll call you right up on the telephone and make you come home . " - Every second and fourth Tuesday of each month a Farmers ' Union meeting is held at the I. O. 0. F. hall at Lattin . Wilson of Flint who had some bridge appointments and no time to pick up nhbage leaves and carrot skins on the end of a cane . Next time , Mr. Cook , mind your onions and dumn your celery tops in the sand scow where they will be carried far out to sea and form some new kind of seaweed -Rex Fanning at Bass Lake got warmed un prving his car loose from the Bass Lake sand .
