We hope you turn up and please don't turn down the girls selling the beautiful home - maid candy.- Miss Ruth Wyckoff went down to Ann Arbor Saturday and made eyes on the campus . - Betty Farmer was married the other day to Orie Keeler in Hart at the Methodist parsonage . Orie is a coast guard at Thunder Bay near Alpena . - Dr . Boynton and the Frasers and W. A. Berger are late lingerers at Little Sable Point . The driver's license of Leon D. Haskins , Shelby barber , has been revoked . He was cently in an accident which was fatal to his wife . The coroner's jury said it was accidental , but seeing he drove past the Hart hospital with her the state police thought his driver's license should be revoked.- Mrs. and Mr. Fred Wilson of Inkster spent a few days with the A. F. Allen family at Smith Corners and explained to their old neighbors that the ink spot in Inkster is getting darker and darker . The Ethio- pian ward is widening . Muriel Allen came home from school to greet them in polished mahonany manners and her older sister , Eileen , told about the election " bust " down at Pentwater high school where they served hot dogs and cold marshmallows on the beach along with soft cider and hard fried cakes . Fern Bowers had a sandy complextion in school the next day . Maybe she stood on her head .
