And the council will appoint the supervisors and the clerk . No longer will you be able to elect these new servants or reject the old . The mavor could sit on his throne for 20 years and what could you do about it ? The city supervisors could misrepresent you and you would have no come- back . You could not unseat the city clerk . He might stay in for life or as many years as the council wanted him . People of Hart city , is that the kind of government you want ? If it is , go ahead and vote for it . If it isn't . now is the time to take the woodpile apart and look for the Ethiopians . The history of Hart has shown that it , is a precious privi- lege to have the right to vote for the mayor they want and to tell him goodbye when they want a change .
