Verda Pettigrove spent the week end out at Ed Kokx's and Edward Lohroff was so afraid he wouldn't get to see her so Sunday morning he went down to Kokx's and want- ed Verda to go with him at night . When he went home and Verda wrote him a letter tell- ing him not to come down to Kokx's and sent it up by Carl . It wasn't ten minutes after- ward that Fatty was down there . When Verda saw him coming she ran upstairs . Then Fatty walked right into the house and asked Alberta where Verda was and she said upstairs . So up goes Fatty and gives Verda a scolding for writing that letter . He sat there a long time and at last he came down looking as though he was all tired out .

Keith Pratt has run out of paper towels and is using toilet paper to wipe his hands on . Merlin Kokx quit going with Gladys Handy to give LeRoy a chance . That's broth- erly love . LeRoy is expecting a date with Olive Osborn for next Sunday night .
